Javed Hashmi’s leader has always been Nawaz Sharif. He is so overwhelmed by his association with his former party PML-N that he has multiple times called Nawaz Sharif his leader, even in parliament. He has also been in touch with his former PML-N colleagues Khawaja Saad Rafique and Nawaz Sharif’s daughter Maryam Nawaz Sharif since he has left PML-N. Is Javed Hashmi mole of PML-N in PTI? If not, when then he always throws the spanner in the works of PTI? He is a kind of sour wound who always keeps cringing, whinging, and complaining. In the name of being a maverick, he violates party discipline, he creates resentment among the loyal PTI workers, he angers the other leader, and he only thinks that he is the sole champion of democracy.
Talking to media, Javed Hashmi has kinds of accused Imran Khan and PTI of conspiring with the establishment to topple the government and install an establishment-backed puppet regime. He said that he struggled for democracy through his whole life and would continue it in the future too but he was not ready to become part of any undemocratic process. So he doesn’t trust his own leader, then why he doesn’t just leave the party? This is not happened first time. When PTI tried to accept election results last years after elections, it was Javed Hashmi who made PTI take oath and join the parliament, hence giving it legitimacy, and then he called Nawaz Sharif his leader.
After that he always gave negative comments all other party leaders like Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Jehangir Tareen, Azam Swati, Shireen Mazari, and all the leadership of Lahore. He often also just defies Imran Khan’s instructions. He is also known to have cast doubt on PTI’s campaign, and he has multiple times said in CEC meetings that he suspected that PTI was being controlled from somewhere else. But Hashmi knows that he has no political future. He won’t be accepted back in PML-N, because nobody except few likes him over there too due to his difficult wayward personality. So that is why Javed Hashmi isn’t going to leave PTI, but will keep on being a sour wound. It’s better that PTI either keep him at distance or just ignores him. He must not be allowed demoralize the PTI workers.
