On Monday May 25th, 2015 a banking court  extended the judicial remand of Ayyan the supermodel till May 28 after application filed in the previous hearing and the prosecution refused to argue her bail. The court heard two applications regarding the case, one by the customs’ investigation team to register a money laundering case against her and the other one from the lawyers of Ayyan for her bail. Judge Sabir Sultan, ordered the prosecution to prepare their arguments and adjourned the case until May 28. Even the request of her defense lawyer Khurram Latif was refused regarding her bail. The more interesting side of the story is where Ayyan’s father approaches to meet her in the court premises and she refuses to meet, reason being that her father abandoned her along with her mother 5 years ago. Ayyan’s father Raja Hafeez had a word with media and says that he wants to reveal the complete truth after talking to Ayyan which she clearly refused and even police is not letting him meet her. He said that there are family terms with Benazir Bhutto not just limited to Mr. Zardari.
