Camtronx Pakistan, official distributor for Nikon in Pakistan held an awards ceremony for the 1st Nikon Photo & Film Festival Pakistan in Lahore at Pearl Continental Hotel. The evening was attended by acclaimed actor and Nikon Icon Shaan Shahid, members from the Japanese Embassy and over 500 photographers and videographers from across the country.
Nikon Photo & Film Festival Pakistan was inaugurated earlier in the summer following the success of similar festivals by the brand globally. The largest festival of its kind, the first ever edition received a record number of over 7,000 entries in photo category and over 270 entries in film category. The awards ceremony featured the screening of Nikon’s Top 50 finalist’s photos and Top 10 videos from the shortlisted entries followed by announcement of winners and dinner for attendees.

Ghalib Hussain was judged winner in the photo category and Taimoor Tanveer in the video category of the festival. The event was managed by the JBnJaws Productions with Public Relations by Amjad Bhatti. While speaking on the occasion, CEO Camtronx Nasir Saeed highlighted that: “We are delighted by the response from photographers and videographers in the maiden edition of Nikon Photo & Film Festival Pakistan. Our team takes pride in celebrating and recognizing the local talent and promoting Colors of Pakistan through such initiatives.”
