Dutch Queen, the beautiful and graceful, her Excellency, Queen of Holland Maxima is arriving in Islamabad today and we welcome her with open hearts and with lots of love and gratitude and we are so honored indeed to have her here. Queen Maxima is a lady of many titles and causes. She cares for the poor and especially immigrants and has done lots of wonderful work in Netherlands for immigrants. She also cares a lot for the rights of gay and women. She also holds many titles in her homecountry. Maxima also currently serves as the United Nations Secretary General’s Special Advocate for Inclusive Finance for Development (UNSGSA).
She has said that she accepted this role in order to raise awareness on the importance of inclusive financial systems for achieving economic and development goals such as poverty alleviation, food security and education. One hopes that her visit to Pakistan would show the world the positive side of the country and Queen would first hand see that how much people of this great country have suffered due to the terrorism and other challenges. Her visit is a great opportunity for the government to make her an advocate of Pakistan. Queen should also see how much Pakistan has done for millions of Afghan immigrants for decades exhausting its own limited resources. Queen can make world understand Pakistan’s sacrifices. We wish Queen a great time in the land which is ancient and great.
