I wonder how many more lives we are going to take on account of this ‘So-called’ name of “ISLAM”?. I wonder who is going to be accountable for the loss of lives of all these people and their property?. I wonder with what faces are we going to be resurrected on the day of judgement?. I wonder if I am next in line in the series of these killings?………….
Creation of Pakistan, never was an idea where minorities would not be given their rights, or where there will be target killing on the basis of sectarianism or where illegal genocide would be flaunted. Indeed Pakistan was supposed to be a homeland, a shelter to all these people, no matter what cast, color or creed they belonged to, despite the fact that it had a Muslim majority. It’s sole idea was to establish a peaceful state with a security of life, property and wealth for all its residents. Quaid-e- Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah said: “You are free; you are free to go to your temples, you are free to go to your mosques or to any other place of worship in this state of Pakistan. You may belong to any religion or caste or creed, that has got nothing to do with the business of the state…. We are starting with this fundamental principle that we are all citizens and equal citizens of one state”– . On contrary what actually it has become??
I swear my hands shiver and my heart sinks, when I see women and children crying because they have been rendered homeless…..Why? Theironly sin is that they are Christians who unfortunately reside in Pakistan…..When I see an asset Of Pakistan, Prof Ali Haider and his 12 yr old son shot to death…Why?? Their only sin was that they got in middle of Sectarian-Clashes which Islam on the first place never really created. I question- ‘Where exactly is our HUMANITY???’ Buried somewhere amidst the false cover of Islam that these fake ‘Mulas’ have created. Humanity, dear friends was indeed one of the very first Islamic preachings. Honestly any sane man on this entire earth would agree that killing a person, on stupid pleas as these, is totally illegal , in-Islamic, inhumane and unethical. For the very information of people out there who claim to be the supporters of Islam when they commit such abominable crimes, just refresh your knowledge of Qur’an ans Sun-nah. In his farewell address Prophet (S.A.W) said ” Most Surely your life property and honor are sacred as this day of pilgrimage”.
Quran says “He who allows himself to shed the blood of a Muslim, is like he who allows shedding the blood of all people”. Further Qur’an says “ … If anyone slew a person unless it be for murder or for spreading mischief in the land it would be as if he slew the whole humanity: and if anyone saved a life it would be as if he saved the life of the whole humanity.” (Al-Qur’an 5:32) ! The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) has strongly prohibited killing of innocent people. One of the Hadiths says, “?Whoever killed ?Muaahadan? (a term used in Islamic state to refer to non-Muslim citizens), will not smell Paradise. And its scent can be smelled from a distance of 40 years (a term in Arabic means ?far distance?).” (Narrated by Al-Nasaie). Do we forget prophet’s behavior towards the non-Muslims at the time of Conquest of Makkah,with Jews under Charter of Medina, at the time of Taif incident, with the prisoners of war, with minorities under his regime. There are at least million instances from Prophet’s life, that I can quote here which support my argument. Are we blind to see the true picture of Islamic preachings or we have just come to terms with the fact that we are all,one day going to kill each other to mass extermination.
I don’t understand where exactly is our Government?? Why is there no accountability of such acts? Why is everyone silent on such issues? Alas ! I get no answer. Maybe I am just writing another article, in line with many others, hoping somewhere, someone will actually listen to what a common man, what majority Pakistanis, have to say on issues like this. Rather the so-called cover of our corrupt Government and I don’t know, what underground agencies, have portrayed to the entire world. I, along with majority of Pakistanis, I hope most of you agree, Strongly condemn the innocent Shia and the Minority killings. We Stand with the very idea that a person, no matter what religion or sect he/she belongs to, is a HUMAN at the very first place and thus has a right to his property, life,wealth, honor and a proper Trial in case if he/she commits a crime !!
