Meesha Shafi Walked the Ramp for Indian Designer JJ Valaya

Veteran launched the long anticipated debut lawn collection here in the Metropolitan, in collaboration with Pakistan’s top textile Industry, Five Star textile industries. Five Star teamed up with JJ Valaya to produce tantalizing prints which sets them apart from other designer lawns. The name JJ Valaya represents unmatched class. He has been making waves in the fashion world with his innovative take on traditional design esthetic with an eye on the needs of a modern lifestyle. JJ Valaya is founding member of Fashion Design Council of India FDCI and the first global brand ambassador of Crystal giant Swarovski.

The three day extravaganza at The Palm, Emerald Marquee kicked off with a launch event which featured emerging models such as Sehrish, Monica, Sidra, Maham, Manal, Sarah, Mubashira, Zara, Abeer & Areeba. The key element of the show was the exciting grand finale in which Pakistan’s ace model/singer/actress Meesha Shafi walked the ramp with Ali Asif, Director Five Star Textile. There were forty five mannequins adorned in beautiful wardrobe by JJ Valaya. The launch event was organized by Catwalk Productions and PR handled by Catalyst PR & Marketing. The guests in attendance included Safinaz Muneer, Huma Adnan, Abdul Samad, Zeba Bakhtiar, Mahin Hussain, Rukeiya Adamjee, Koni, Neshmia Ahmed and a huge crowd to welcome Five Star signature lawn by J.J Valaya.
