Re-polling at 43 polling stations in NA-250 and in provincial assembly seats PS-112 and PS-113 is likely to add few national and provincial assemblies seat to Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaf’s present figure, media quoting sources reported on Saturday. After announcement of boycott from Muttahdia Qaumi Movement, PTI’s Dr. Arif Alvi may win from the constituency comprehensively.
Other candidates from the constituency include Pakistan Peoples Party’s Rashid Hussain Rabbani while MQM’s Khushbakht Shujaat has withdrawn the seat after boycott from her party. According to sources, out of 180 polling stations, polling has been completed in 137 polling stations which shows a tough competition between PTI’s Dr. Arif Alvi and MQM’s Khushbakht; however, after the boycott from the latter one, Dr. Alvi chances for win has manifolded.
