Subject : ‘Creature 3D’ Actor Imran Abbas’ Visa Woes
Pak actor Imran Abbas who makes his Bollywood debut opposite Bipasha Basu with ‘Creature 3D’ missed the trailer launch of his B-Town debut It is being said that Pakistani actor Imran Abbas didn’t make it to the trailer launch of his Bollywood debut, Creature 3D, on Wednesday evening due to visa issues. The actor was unable to do the necessary paperwork to make his way to Mumbai for the event. Says a source, “Imran is making his Bollywood debut with this film, so he was keen to be present at the event along with co-star Bipasha Basu, director Vikram Bhatt and producer Bhushan Kumar. He was looking forward to sharing the dais with the unit, but at the last minute, he realised that he could not obtain a visa.” Vikram Bhatt confirms the story. “Yes, I am given to understand that this is what happened. But it’s not that he was not granted a visa. He had just left India and did not have enough time to reapply for one. Incidentally, he was slated to make his Bollywood debut in the Akshay Kumar-starrer Boss (2013), but was dropped due to contractual violations. The actor, on his part, had maintained that he chose to leave the film as the project was taking time and it was stopping him from taking up other offers.
