Recipe for Murgh KataKat


  • Chicken mince 1/2 kg
  • Onion chopped 1 cup
  • Tomatoes chopped 3
  • Eggs (hard boiled) 3
  • Green chilies chopped 4
  • Oil 1/2 cup
  • Cumin seeds 1 tsp
  • Garlic paste 1 tsp
  • All spice 1 tsp
  • Ginger chopped 2 tbsp
  • Coriander leaves 2 tbsp
  • Mint leaves 2 tbsp
  • Yogurt 4 tbsp
  • Chili powder 1, 1/2 tsp
  • Salt 1, 1/2 tsp

Cooking Directions

Heat oil in a large griddle pan.

Add cumin seeds with chopped onion and cook for 5 minutes.

Add chicken mince, cook for another 5 minutes.

Now add chopped ginger and garlic paste, stir fry for 1 minute.

Mix in chopped tomatoes, chili powder and chopped green chilies, cook for 10 minutes.

Chop and mash mince and tomatoes with metal spoons (Taka Tak Spoon).

Add in yogurt, salt, boiled eggs and.

Chop and mash eggs too.

In the end add all spice, coriander and mint leaves, serve hot immediately.
