Recipe for Chocolate Doughnuts


  • Flour ½ kg
  • Eggs 4
  • Instant yeast 1 sachet
  • Sugar ½ cup
  • Butter ½ cup
  • Your favorite chocolate bars as required
  • Colorful chocolate sprinkles as required
  • Cocoa powder as required
  • Baking powder 2 tsp
  • Oil for frying

Cooking Directions

Dissolve sachet of instant yeast and sugar in some lukewarm water.

Leave it for 15 minutes.

In a bowl, mix together flour, butter, baking powder, a pinch of salt, yeast sugar mixture and knead the dough with water or milk as required.

Leave it to rise for 1 hour.

Form in to doughnut shapes with the help of a doughnut cutter.

Make a small hole in center.

Now deep fry on medium flame from both sides till golden brown.

Now melt chocolate in double boiler and spread on donuts.

Garnish with cocoa powder and colorful chocolate sprinklers .

Cool and serve
