Recipe for NAAN KHATAI


  • 1/2 cup Castor sugar
  • 1 cup Flour
  • Half Egg
  • Salt a pinch
  • 4 Cardamom ground
  • 1 tbsp Ghee
  • 1/2 tsp Baking powder
  • Almond & pistachio as required

Cooking Directions

Mix 1 cup of flour, a pinch of salt, ½ cup caster sugar, ½ tsp baking powder, 4 ground green cardamoms, 1tbsp ghee and knead it well to make dough and leave for 30 mints.

Make round ball from it and flatten with palms.

Sprinkle chopped almonds and pistachio over it and brush with beaten egg.

Now place in a baking tray and bake it at 180C in a pre heated oven for 15-20 mints.

Dish out and serve them.
