Recipe for Balochi Chicken Karahi


  • Chicken (16 pieces)1
  • Lemons 2
  • Chopped green chilies4
  • Clarified butter/oil1 cup
  • Chopped green coriander1 bunch
  • Chopped tomatoes½ kg
  • Crushed black pepper1 tsp
  • Roasted cumin1 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste1 tbsp
  • Red chili powder2 tbsp
  • Karahi masala 1 tbsp
  • Chopped ginger 2 tbsp
  • Saltto taste

Cooking Directions

Wash the chicken and put it in the Karachi. Add in 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste and some salt.

Cook it till the water dries. Then add in chopped tomatoes and cook it till the water dries.

Then add in 1 tbsp karahi masala, 1 tsp crushed black pepper, 1 tsp roasted cumin and 1 cup clarified butter / oil.

Cook it. Add in 2 tbsp chopped ginger, 4 chopped green chilies, green coriander and 2 lemon juice. Serve hot.
