Recipe for Malai Palak Chicken


  • Chicken 200 Grams
  • Yogurt 1/2 Cup
  • Cumin powder 1/2 Teaspoons
  • Red chilly powder 1 Teaspoons
  • Coriander powder 1/2 Teaspoons
  • Turmeric powder 1/4 Teaspoons
  • Garam masala 1/4 Teaspoons
  • Salt To Taste
  • Onion(chopped) 1/2 Cup
  • Green chilies(chopped) 1/2 Teaspoons
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 Teaspoons
  • Spinach- palak puree 1/2 Cup
  • Fresh cream 1/2 Cup
  • Coriander leaves(chopped) 1 Tablespoons
  • Lime juice 1-2 Tablespoons
  • Oil 2 Tablespoons

Cooking Directions

Take a bowl and add chicken, yogurt, cumin powder, red chilly powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, garam masala and mix thoroughly then allow it to marinate.

Heat oil in a pan and add onion, salt, green chilies, ginger garlic paste and saute it.

Add marinated chicken and saute it, cook it with lid on it.

When the chicken is fried add palak puree and cook it with lid on it.

Add fresh cream and saute it.

At last add coriander leaves, lime juice and mix nicely.

Now the malai palak chicken curry is ready to serve with roti or rice.
