Recipe for Achari Aloo Salad


  • Boiled potatoes ½ kg
  • Lemon 2
  • Green chilies chopped 4
  • Mint chopped ½ bunch
  • White vinegar ½ cup
  • White cumin 1 tsp
  • Nigella seed 1 tsp
  • Red chili crushed 1 tbsp
  • Mustard powder 1 tbsp
  • Whole coriander 1 tbsp
  • Oil as required

Cooking Directions

First wash ½ kg potato and half boil them to peel and cut them in small cubes.

In a wok heat as required oil and fry potatoes cubes till it turn golden brown.

Then put them in salad bowl.

In a chopped add ½ cup white vinegar, 2 lemon juice, 1 tsp nigella seed, 1 tbsp red chili crushed, 1 tsp white cumin and 1 tbsp whole coriander to toast and grind them.

Then mix in potato with 1 tbsp mustard powder, ½ bunch chopped mint and 4 chopped green chilies to mix and serve.
