Recipe for Sweet and Sour Meat Balls


  • Mince meat ¼ kg
  • Onion 1
  • Black pepper 1 tbsp
  • Salt ½ tsp
  • Garlic 2
  • Egg white 1
  • Capsicum 1
  • Carrot 1
  • Cabbage 1 cup
  • Oil ½ cup
  • For Sauce:
  • Chicken stock 2 cup
  • Corn flour 1 tsp
  • Red chili 1 tsp (crushed)
  • Salt ½ tsp
  • Brown sugar 2 tbsp
  • Vinegar 2 tbsp
  • Soya sauce 2 tbsp
  • Garlic 1 tsp
  • Tomato ketchup ½ cup

Cooking Directions

Grind mince meat with onion, black pepper, salt, and garlic.

Now add egg white and make balls.

Heat oil and fry these balls on low flame till golden.

Take out oil and leave 1 tbsp oil in pan.

Add garlic and fry. Now add chicken stock.

When it comes to a boil add meat balls and cook for 5 minutes on low flame.

Add vegetables, crushed red chilies, salt, brown sugar, vinegar, soya sauce, tomato ketchup and corn flour (dissolved in water).

Cook for 3 minutes.

When it comes to a boil turn the flame off.
