Recipe for Aloo Gosht


  • Beef 500g
  • Onion 2 pieces
  • Tomato 3 pieces
  • Whole Hot Spices 5 g
  • Green Chili 2 pieces
  • Garlic 7 pieces
  • Salt as per taste
  • Turmeric 1 tsp
  • Red Chili Powder 1 tsp
  • Red Chili Crushed 1 tsp
  • Cumin 1 tsp
  • Coriander Powder 1 tsp
  • Cumin Powder 1 tsp
  • Water 2 glasses
  • Potato 2 pieces
  • Cooking Oil 4 tbsp
  • Yogurt half cup
  • Green Chili, Ginger, Green Coriander for garnishing

Cooking Directions

In a cooking pot, add beef, onion, tomato, whole hot spices, green chili, garlic, turmeric, red chili powder, red chili crushed, whole cumin and water.

Steam it for an hour on low flame.

After that, add cooking oil, yogurt, potatoes and steam it for 15 to 20 minutes on low flame.

Use green coriander, green chili, ginger for garnishing.

Your tasty Aloo Gosht is ready to serve.
