Recipe for Masoor Keema Pulao

Ingredients

  • Chicken or Beef Mince 1/2 kg
  • Black Masoor Lentil 1 cup
  • G/Garlic Paste 2 tbsp
  • Green Chilies Paste 2 tbsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Turmeric Powder 1 tsp
  • Black PepperCorns 8-10
  • Green Cardamom 2-3
  • Potato 1 large (cut into cubes)
  • Onions 2 pcs
  • White Cumin 1 tsp
  • Black Cumin 1 tsp
  • Red Chilies as per taste
  • Tomatoes 3-4
  • Yogurt 1/4 kg
  • Lemon 2 pcs
  • Coriander as required
  • Mint as required
  • Green Chilies as required
  • Rice 2 cup

Cooking Directions

Partially boil black masoor lentil in a pan.

Add mincemeat in another pan first, then onions and then thick tomato chunks.

Now add partially boiled lentil and sliced lemon.

Now add coriander leaves, mint leaves, green chilies, ginger garlic paste, turmeric, salt, black peppercorns, green cardamoms, white cumin and potato cubes. Mix well.

Now add one cup water and roast well until all the mixture becomes tender and soft.

Now fry 1 onion in a pan until browned and add the mixture you made recently. Roast well.

Now add 2 cup rice and boil partially (3/4).

Remove the water from boiled rice, place a layer of mince, then sprinkle min leaves, coriander, green chilies, browned onions and round lemon slices.

Then place another layer of rice, then mincemeat, mint leaves, coriander and onions, lemon and yellow food coloring.

Cook on steam covered (dam).

Masoor keema pulao is ready.

Serve and enjoy.
