Recipe for Pitachi Mirchi


  • Oil: – 4 tea spoon
  • Salt : – as per taste
  • Numbu Pani (lemon Juice) : – 1 tea spoon
  • Cayenne Powder: – 1 tea spoon
  • Turmeric : – ¼ tea spoon
  • Curry Leaves : – 6-
  • Asafoetida: – ¼ tea spoon
  • Coriander Powder : – 1 tea spoonMustard Powder: – 1 tea spoon
  • Sesame seeds: – 2 tea spoon roasted
  • Coconut : – 2 tea spoon (flaked)
  • Cornstarch (Makai ka atta): – 30 gms
  • Green pepper : – 4-5 dried

Cooking Directions

First of roast the cornstarch properly till it turns to golden color

Take another pan and heat the oil into it and mix the mustard seeds and then pop them.

Then mix the cayenne powder, salt, turmeric, curry leaves and asafetida and mix it properly.

Keep if stirring for 1 minute and then add the peppers.

Then add the little water and then cook the whole till it becomes bit crispy.

Then add the cornstarch into it and also the coconut and the lemon juice.

Properly cook the cornstarch so that it soaks up the liquid.
Now you can eat it hot.
