Recipe for Red Chicken


  • Chicken Pieces 1 1/2 kg
  • Tomato Ketchup 3/4 cup
  • Red Chilli 1/2 tsp
  • Lemon Juice 1/4 cup
  • Worcester Sauce 1 tbsp
  • White Pepper 1/2 tsp
  • Salt 2 tsp
  • Sugar 1 tsp
  • Onion (chopped) 1
  • Oil 2 tbsp
  • Water 1/2 cup
  • Coriander Leaves for garnishing

Cooking Directions

Mix together tomato ketchup, red chilli, lemon juice, Worcester sauce, white pepper, salt, sugar, and onion.
Marinate the chicken in the sauce for 3-4 hours in a glass bowl.
Place the chicken, sauce and water in a saucepan.

Cover the saucepan with a lid on medium heat for 10 minutes.

Stir occasionally until sauce thickens and start to stick together to chicken for another 10 minutes.

Add oil, stir and remove from heat.

Place the chicken on a serving platter and garnish with sauce and coriander leaves.

Serve with naan.
