Recipe for Green Chicken Curry


  • ½ kg chicken boneless, cubed
  • 6-8 green chillies
  • 1 sachet coconut milk powder
  • 3 onions, chopped
  • Bunch of coriander
  • 7-8 garlic cloves
  • 1”piece of ginger
  • ½ tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 lemon
  • 10-12 peppercorns
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 10-12 curry leaves
  • 3 tbsp oil

Cooking Directions

Dissolve coconut milk powder in 1 cup hot water. Grind ginger, garlic, coriander leaves, chillies, peppercorns and cumin seeds, add turmeric powder and salt.

Heat oil, add onions and fry till golden, add curry leaves and masala paste and saute.

Add coconut milk powder, keep stirring till it comes to a boil.

Add the chicken cubes and cook till done, sprinkle lemon juice and serve with boiled rice.
