Job Description: • Responsible for writing database-monitoring scripts • Use proactive approach to identify and improve databases performance • Experimenting and implementing Oracle new features • Migrating/upgrading Oracle instances • Enterprise Database Environment, expertise in clustered environment • Knowledge of DB processes will be a plus • Expert in Oracle enterprise and Cluster solution • Expert knowledge level of DB schema optimization and query optimization • Expert of setup DB for real time large scale system • Perform other essential duties as assigned MS SQL Server DBA experience is a plus • Proven experience in supporting 24x7 high volume production OLTP databases • Experience with various features of Oracle; like replication, Distributed Environment, Partitioning, clustering, load balancing etc • Experience in database designing and modeling • MS SQL Server DBA experience is an advantage • Responsible for other duties as assigned and must be able to work independently within specified time constraints Skills Required: • Familiar with MS Windows Servers • Familiar with database installing, updating & configuring. • Familiar with Table partitioning. • Excellent with various features of Oracle; like replication, Distributed Environment, Partitioning, clustering, load balancing etc • Excellent database performance tuning and capacity planning skills • Familiar with various monitoring tools and scripts • Familiar with various database backup and recovery strategies • Strong SQL tuning skills Personal Attributes: • Positive • Team player • Regular • Punctual • Communicative • Decision maker • Should have Leadership Qualities • Career Growing
