Status : Offline		 UP Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav Announced 1650 Crore Rupees Agri Loan waiver
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav on 22 November 2012 announced an agricultural loan waiver worth 1650 crore Rupees which is supposed to benefit about half a million small and marginal farmers.
The agricultural loan waiver is applied to farmers who had taken up to 50000 rupees of loan from the UP Sahkari Gram Vikas Bank (UPSGVB) against farm land as security.
The provision is that the borrower should have repaid at least a tenth of the principal amount by March 31, to be eligible. The waiver would include both the principal due and interest on it.

Status : Offline		 Delhi High Court Launched e-court Fee System making Justice Delivery System Paperless
The Delhi High Court on 20 November 2012 launched the e-court feesystem at its premises to cut off the difficulty and delay in filing cases and to make the justice delivery system paperless and hassle-free.
The new system launched is a joint initiative of Delhi Government and the Computer Committee of the High Court which is headed by Justice B. D. Ahmed and it is going to allow litigants to buy stamp papers--used to file court cases online instead of having to physically stand in queue to do so. Also, the new system is fully secure as it could not be tampered with or counterfeited.

Indian origin dentist Savita Halappanavar died in Ireland on 28 October 2012 at the University College Hospital Galway after the doctors refused her abortion despite hers body being sick and weak due to 17 weeks of pregnancy. The doctors had refused her abortion on the basis of catholic tenets. Eventually it led to septicemia or blood poisoning that led to her death.

The Coal Ministry of India on 17 November 2012 issued orders for deduction of bank guarantees of the D B Power and decided on de-allocation of some coal blocks following a decision made by an Inter Ministerial Group.
The Inter ministerial Group after its decision recommended a deduction of the bank guarantee of D B Power to an extent of 5.1 crore rupees. The calculated bank guarantee of the coal controller is to be deducted and deposited with the government.
