Subject : MeeGo isn’t new phones software choice of Nokia
Nokia’s N9 MeeGo smart phone will be first and last MeeGo phone by Nokia, focus is Windows Phone software, said by Nokia chief executive Stephen Elopi in an interview to Finnish newspaper.Apple iOS and Google Android sent Nokia’s Symbian smartphones reputation into its lowest. Nokia then made decision to stop its Symbian developments and have given its Symbian control to Accenture communications to provide support to existing Symbian phones till year 2016.
Nokia partnered with Microsoft to start manufacturing Windows Phone OS Nokia smart phones. And they said will continue with Windows Phone software instead of MeeGo. They also said they are not going to use MeeGo in future even if their MeeGo powered N9 phone gets popularity.
