• Eggs 3
• Flour 2 cup
• Castor sugar 1-1/2 cup
• Butter 200 gm
• Baking powder 1 tsp
• Lemon essence 1 tsp

In a bowl beat together castor sugar and butter till creamy, then add eggs one by one and lemon essence.

Fold in sieve mixture of flour and baking powder.

Lastly bake in a preheated oven of 180 degrees for 25 minutes.

Tea cake is ready to serve.
