Recipe for RasMalai

Ingredients

  • Powdered milk 1 cup
  • Eggs 3
  • Baking powder ¼ tsp
  • Milk 1 kg
  • Green cardamoms 6
  • Sugar ½ cup
  • Almonds & Pistachios as required
  • Sterling silver leaf for garnishing

Cooking Directions

Mix powdered milk, eggs and baking powder in a bowl. Knead soft dough and leave it for 30 minutes.

Make small balls for dough.

Boil milk in a pot and add green cardamoms and sugar to it.

After the sugar is completely dissolved, add the milk balls, and cook on low flame for 5-7 minutes.

Chop almonds and pistachios and sprinkle on top. Garnish with sterling silver leaf.
