• Orange Squares
• 1 and 1/4 cups of flour
• 1 and 1/4cups of Sugar
• 1/2 cup of Butter, softened and Salted
• 3 eggs
• 2 tbs Orange extract
• 1 Teaspoon Orange zest
• Glaze
• 1 cup icing Sugar
• 1/4 cup Orange juice
• 1 Teaspoon Orange zest

In a bowl, stir together the ingredients above and mix with a mixer till well blended.

Pour into a prepared 9 x 9 inch square pan and bake in a preheated oven at 220C for 30 minutes.

Remove from oven and pierce top of entire cake with a fork. Cool before pouring glaze.

Combine glaze ingredients (below),and pour over cake. Let it set for five minutes then cut into squares.
