Recipe for Sindhi Biryani

Ingredients

  • ½ KG Chicken
  • 2 Onions
  • 1 Cup Yogurt
  • 2 Half Boiled Potatoes
  • 1 TBSP Salt
  • 5 Tomatoes
  • 1 TSP Turmeric Powder
  • 1 TBSP Red Chili Powder
  • 12 Green Chilies
  • 4 Black Cardamoms
  • 6 Cloves
  • 1 TSP Black Cumin Seeds
  • 12 Black Peppers
  • 4 Green Cardamoms
  • 3 Star Anise
  • 6 Plum
  • 1 TSP Nutmeg & Mace Powder
  • ½ TSP Food Color
  • ½ TSP Biryani Essence
  • ½ Pinch Mint
  • 4 Lemons
  • ½ Pinch Green Coriander
  • 2 Cup Rice
  • 1 TSP Ghee

Cooking Directions

In a bowl add Rice, Water and soak for 30 minutes.

In a cooking pot, add water, salt, cooking oil and soaked rice then boil the rice until 3/4th done.

In another cooking pot, add cooking oil, onion and fry until light brown.

Now add ginger garlic paste, chicken and fry for a while.

Now, add garam masala, salt, turmeric, red chili powder, potato, yogurt, water and cook for 10 mints.

Now, add dried plum, tomato, green chili and cook for a while.

Take a cooking pot for layering.

Start from Cooked Chicken layer then rice layer and then spread the mint, fresh coriander after that, add again chicken layer then rice layer, now spread the fried onion, biryani essence, food color, fresh coriander, mint, green chili, nutmeg powder, javitri powder, and simmer for 10 minutes.
