Recipe for Steamed Beef

Ingredients

  • Beef 1 kg
  • Yoghurt 1/2 kg
  • Garlic 1 teaspoon and 2 whole
  • Ginger 1 teaspoon
  • Green chillis 2 whole
  • Lemon juice of 1 lemon
  • Red chilli powder 2 teaspoons
  • Turmeric 1/2 teaspoons
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil 3 tablespoons
  • Onion 1 cut into 2 pieces
  • Tomato 1 cut into 4 pieces
  • A pinch of garam masala, corriander powder and zeera powder.

Cooking Directions

Put all things into a pot mix well and let it marinate for 2 hours.

After 2 hours place the pot on a slow flame and let it cook for 1 hour.

When the gravy has thickened and the beef has cooked take it off the heat and let it rest for 5 minutes.

You can thicken the gravy or loosen it as much as u require.

Garnish with fresh green corriander.

Serve it with rice or naan or u
can eat it just as it is.
