Recipe for Spicy Chicken Wings


  • Chicken wings 1 kg
  • Whole red chilies 5-6
  • Dried red chilies 3-4
  • All purpose flour 2 cups
  • Eggs 2-3
  • Whole cumin 1 tsp
  • Carom seeds 1/2 tsp
  • Ginger 1 piece
  • Garlic 5-6 cloves
  • Coriander 1/2 bunch
  • Green chilies 5-6
  • Oil for frying
  • Salt as required
  • Salad leaves for garnishing
  • Tomatoes for garnishing

Cooking Directions

Wash the chicken wings and keep them aside.

In a blender blend together the whole red chilies, red chilies, 1 cup all purpose flour, 2 eggs, whole cumin, carom seeds, ginger, garlic, coriander and salt.

Pour the mixture into a bowl.

Marinate the chicken wings for 1 ½ hours with half of the mixture.

In the remaining mixture add another egg and all purpose flour.

Dip the chicken wings into the batter and deep for on a medium flame till crisp and golden brown.

Serve with salad leaves and tomato slices.
