Moomal Sheikh’s debut Bollywood movie “Happy Bhag Jayegi” has been banned in Pakistan. After it’s initial release, the Central Board of Film Censors was considering to ban the movie for showing Mohammad Ali Jinnah’s portrait and the policeman’s character played by Piyush Mishra. The censor board made an official statement today that they have banned the film in Pakistan. When Moomal Sheikh was asked about the ban before the decision was being made, she said: “The decision is still pending, so I am just waiting for it. I am excited but also nervous as it’s my debut film. I usually don’t complain nor do I harbor any negative feelings but this incident has really made me upset.”
