• 1kg sweet potato
• 2 cups water
• 2/3 cup sugar (or 3 inch of jaggery/gurh)

Peel the sweet potato well and cut each of them into two large pieces.

In a deep pan, put the pieces of sweet potato, sugar and water. Turn on the stove and cook on high flame until water starts to boil, after that reduce the flame to minimum and cover the pan.

After 15-20 mins when all the water has been dried and sweet potato become soft completely, switch off the stove and let it cool at room temperature.

Servings:
Sprinkle some mix spice (chart masala) and easy Sweet potato is ready to serve.
