• 1 chicken cut in to 10 pieces **
• 1 tablespoon cumin powder
• 1/2 tablespoon coriander powder
• 1 tablespoon chopped ginger
• 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
• 4 whole cloves
• 4 whole cardamoms
• 2 chopped tomatoes
• Salt to taste
• 1/2 tablespoon curry powder
• 4 chopped garlic
• 3 chopped onions
• 1 cinnamon stick
• 6 whole black pepper
• 4 cups of chopped fresh spinach or
• 3 cups of frozen spinach
• 2 cups water or more.

Fry the onions, when transparent add the cinnamon, cardamom, cloves and black pepper,

When the aroma of the spices starts to come out, add the chicken and keep on stirring.

When chicken turn golden add, tomatoes, garlic and ginger, stir for 2 minutes.

Now add the spinach and stir, after 3 minutes add water and leave to cook on medium heat.

When chicken is done and around 1/4 cup or less of water left in the pan, your dish is ready.
