Recipe for MAKAI KI ROTTI

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Cornmeal Makhai ka Atta
  • 1 Wheat flour
  • Salt to taste
  • Ghee \ oil or butter as required

Cooking Directions

Mix 1 cup wheat flour with 2 cup cornmeal (makhai ka Atta) and add salt to taste.

Now knead to dough with lukewarm water according to requirements and let it leave for few minutes to set properly.

Now make small balls and roll each ball into medium plate size. Toast it on both side and remove.

Brush it with butter, ghee or oil as per requirement.

Serve with gravy but it is mostly served with Palak and karri.
