Recipe for Mughlai Pulao

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Rice
  • 1 tbsp raisins
  • 1 tbsp cashewnuts
  • 3/4 cup boiled green peas
  • 2 tbsps cottagte cheese cubes
  • 1 tsp caraway seeds
  • 2 green chillies
  • 2 cloves
  • 2 cinnamon
  • 2 cardamoms
  • 1 tbsp chopped mixed fruits
  • 1/2 tsp saffron
  • 4 tbsps Oil
  • to taste salt

Cooking Directions

Boil rice.Drain and cool. Heat oil and fry cashewnuts. Remove and keep aside.

Fry raisins in same oil. Remove and keep aside.

Add cinnamon, cloves, cardamoms and green chillies to the oil and fry again.

Add rice, cottage cheese, green peas, fruit pieces and salt and mix well.

Warm saffron a little, rub in a little warm water and add to rice.

Garnish with fried cashewnuts and raisins.
Serve hot chutney.
