• 2 cups flour
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 1 pinch of salt
• 1/2 cup butter
• 2 eggs
• 1-1/2 cups sugar, divided
• 1 cup sour cream
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
• 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Mix together flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. In larger bowl, combine butter, 1 cup of the sugar and eggs until creamy.

Add flour mixture to butter/sugar mixture alternately with sour cream and vanilla.

In a separate bowl, combine remaining 1/2 cup sugar, walnuts and cinnamon. Pour half of batter mixture into greased and floured tube pan.

Sprinkle half of nut mixture on batter and repeat with remaining batter and nut mixture.

Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Test cake for doneness. (No batter should stick to cake tester.)
