Recipe for Mutton Kofta

Ingredients

  • 1/2 kg Mince
  • 3 slices Bread
  • 1 tsp Turmeric
  • 1 tsp Whole Cumin
  • 3 Fried brown onions
  • 2 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
  • 2 tbsp Roasted grams
  • 4 Black cardamoms
  • 8 Whole red chillies
  • 8 Whole black pepper
  • 1 tbsp Red chili powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/4 bunch Coriander leaves
  • 1/4 bunch Mint
  • 2 tbsp Whole coriander seeds
  • 2 sticks Cinnamon
  • 4 Green chillies
  • 2 tbsp Poppy seeds
  • 1/2 cup Yogurt
  • 4 Cloves
  • 1 cup Ghee
  • 1 onion Chopped
  • 4 Green cardamoms
  • 1tsp All spice powder

Cooking Directions

Take a mixing bowl, put mince, bread slices, chopped coriander leaves, chopped mint and ginger garlic paste in it.

Grind the black pepper, green cardamom black cardamom, cloves, cumin, cinnamon sticks and whole coriander seeds in grinder and add in the mince. Mix it well and make mince balls from it.

Take another bowl, put salt yogurt, turmeric powder, ginger garlic paste, red chilli powder and crushed fried onion and mix well.

Now take a deep pan and heat the ghee, add the yogurt mixture and cook it till it dries.

Now add mince balls and stir without using a dipper or spoon (use a cloth for this purpose).

Add water to make the required gravy and add whole spice powder and coriander leaves when it starts boiling and put off the flame.
