• All purpose flour 1 cup
• Baking powder 1 tsp
• Butter 1/2 cup (soft)
• Sugar 1/2 cup
• Egg 1
• Vanilla essence ½ tsp
• Milk ¼ cup

Sieve together all purpose flour and baking powder. Keep aside.

Mix together butter and sugar until creamy.

Add egg and vanilla essence and mix again.

Fold in all purpose flour. If the dough is hard then add milk.

It should be soft dough.

Make round biscuits out of the dough and place in greased baking tray.

Bake at 180 degree C for 12-15 minutes or until light brown and crispy.
