• 1/4 cup pine nuts (chilgoza) or walnuts (akhrot), chopped
• 2 cups fresh basil leaves , loosely packed
• 1/4 cup parmesan cheese
• 2 tbsp olive oil
• 1 tsp chopped garlic (lehsun)
• Salt to taste

Lightly roast the pine nuts. Cool completely.

Combine all the ingredients in a blender and blend into a smooth paste.

Use as required.
