• Oil ¼ cup
• Onion chopped 4 tbsp
• Garlic chopped 1 tsp
• Carrot 1 finely chopped in cubes
• Mushrooms 4 chopped
• Mince ½ kg
• Tomato puree ½ cup
• Mixed herbs 1 tsp heaped
• Salt 1 tsp
• Black pepper 1 tsp
• Crushed red pepper 1 tsp
• Pasta sauce 1 cup
• Butter 2 tbsp
• Flour 2 tbsp
• Milk 2 cups
• Penne pasta boiled 3 cups
• Mozzarella cheese ½ cup

Heat oil fry onion, garlic and carrot until soft add mince, mushrooms, tomato puree, salt, black pepper, crushed red pepper, cover and simmer for 30 minutes.

Preheat oven, make white sauce with butter, flour, milk and seasoning until thick, stir in mozzarella cheese, mix pasta with cheese sauce.

To Assemble:
Spread mince mixture into an oven proof dish, top with pasta mixture, mixed with pasta sauce.

Sprinkle with remaining mozzarella cheese.

Bake for 20 minutes until golden.
