Recipe for Cornflakes Macaroons

Ingredients

  • Egg whites 2
  • Sugar 1 cup
  • Desiccated coconut (heaped) 1 cup
  • Corn flakes 1 cup
  • Coconut essence 1/2 tsp
  • Salt 1/2 tsp

Cooking Directions

Pre-heat the oven at 180 degrees.

Beat egg whites till stiff.

Add salt and coconut essence, gradually beat in sugar.

Fold in desiccated coconut and corn flakes.

Spoon out the mixture with a teaspoon and drop it onto a greased baking tray.

Bake for 20 minutes till golden and firm.

Remove with spatula.
